Okay… here we go – Top 50 Billboard Hits of 2025, my unfiltered American disaster ranking (January 2026 edition)
Guys, Top 50 Billboard Hits of 2025 is legitimately the soundtrack of me losing my damn mind in the most beautiful and embarrassing ways possible.
Right now I’m sitting in my messy apartment in the US, leftover Taco Bell bag on the coffee table, rain tapping the window like it’s judging me, and I’m about to tell you which songs from last year still make me feel things (and which ones I aggressively skip in 2026).
No sugarcoating. Some of these I played on repeat until my neighbors probably filed complaints. Some I pretended to hate but secretly added to my shower playlist. Sue me.
For the shower playlist confession energy (you know, the ones you pretend to hate but belt out anyway), imagine this level of unapologetic chaos:

And just because the Billboard hits deserve their own dramatic glow, here’s a nod to the soundtrack that broke you in the best/worst ways:

How I Even Ranked These 2025 Chart-Toppers
Criteria was 40% how hard it hit emotionally, 30% how many times I screamed it in my car at 1 a.m., 20% pure vibe, and 10% pure “would I still listen to this in 2030 or am I ashamed of myself right now?”
Very scientific.
Top 10 Billboard Hits of 2025 – The Untouchables (fight me)
- Sabrina Carpenter – “Busy Woman” Still the song I blast when I need to feel like I have my life together even though I very much do not. - Chappell Roan – “The Giver” I cried in a Walmart parking lot to this. Multiple times. No regrets. Official video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=the-giver-official
- Billie Eilish – “Skinny” (the 2025 remix version) The whisper-scream combo at 2:47 still gives me full body chills. I’m not okay.
- Tyler, The Creator – “DARLING, I’M A NIGHTMARE” I have played this at 3 a.m. while eating cereal straight from the box more times than I’m comfortable admitting.
- Kendrick Lamar – “tv off” (feat. Lefty Gunplay) The beat switch-up at 2:12 is criminal. I lost my mind in the Popeyes drive-thru.
- Charli XCX – “Spring breakers forever” Brat summer extended into brat winter, brat spring, brat life. I own the lime green hoodie. I’m part of the problem.
- Post Malone & Morgan Wallen – “I Had Some Help (Platinum Edition 2025)” Yes I’m a sucker. Yes I sang this at karaoke and sounded like a dying goat. Moving on.
- Tate McRae – “it’s ok, I’m ok (hyperpop version)” This one lives in my head rent-free. I scream the bridge in traffic. People stare.
- Bad Bunny – “DTMF (English/Spanish mix)” The way he says “call me when you’re drunk” in Spanglish… I’m weak.
- SZA – “Snooze (2025 orchestral rework)” I ugly cried to this during a 7-11 slushie run. Peak human experience.
Here are a couple of fitting renders to capture that late-night, rainy drive feeling:

This one pulls straight from the official single art vibes (that clean, bold aesthetic Sabrina’s been rocking on Short n’ Sweet era).

And this captures more of the car interior at night in the rain—imagine the phone tilted just like you said, screen lit up with the track, red glow sneaking in from behind.
Mid-tier 2025 bops that still slap but I’m not ready to die on this hill (11–25)
Here’s the chaotic middle section:
- Olivia Rodrigo – “so american” (yes I’m basic, fight me)
- Doja Cat – “Agora Hills (TikTok edit version)”
- Drake – “Gimme a Hug”
- Ariana Grande – “yes, and? (2025 Pride remix)”
- Megan Thee Stallion – “HISS (still)”
- …and so on down to
- Jelly Roll – “I Am Not Okay (but the choir version)”
I still blast most of these when I’m trying to convince myself I’m thriving.
The controversial skips & guilty pleasures (26–50)
I’m just gonna speedrun the rest because I’m getting emotional again:
26–35: mostly solid pop-country crossovers, some sexy R&B I pretend I don’t like, and one song about a monster truck that I will never admit to knowing all the words to
36–45: the era where TikTok chose violence and I chose violence right back
46–50: look… some songs charted because of sheer algorithm magic and I respect the hustle but they’re not living in my soul, okay?
Final chaotic thoughts about the Top 50 Billboard Hits of 2025
Look. 2025 was a fever dream musically.
I screamed, cried, danced badly in my kitchen, called my ex at 2 a.m. because of one bridge, then blocked them again because of the outro.
